Spoiler Alert
We’d much rather you watch the movie than read some of our favorite and least favorite parts about it. But if you have to know, check out our breakdown below.
At one point in the series, we enter an elderly couple’s home to discover the woman has been skinning her husband. He’s sitting in a room with pieces of skin hanging from the ceiling. The gore is surprising and the scene is intense, shocking, and fascinating all at the same time.
Scare Critic’s favorite character in Marianne, without a doubt, is the elderly woman from our favorite scene.
Scare Critic’s favorite scare in Marianne happens early in episode 2. Camile answers the phone and speaks to the alarm company representative. The representitive is advising her to close the back door. Then the conversation takes a turn and the person on the other end of the phone tells her to look behind her. In the corner stands…. You really should just watch it!
Marianne is a French film leaving faithful viewers her in the U.S. with English voiceovers. At times, the voiceover actors fall flat in delivery and seem amatuer.
